Rejecting help

Hello, my friend's brother is terminally ill, he rejects help from his family and they are hurting very much. A mother, daughter and sisters are witnessing his beloved getting worse, they would like to do something to help but he won't let them. What could be done? Nothing? Something? As much as they can or as much as he let them? I would like to help my friend who is grieving... Thanks for your reading....

Ana, my dear, I have an article that may be of some help to you in understanding what this terminally ill person might be thinking and feeling ~ and be sure to see some of the Related Articles listed at the base: Keeping the Secret of a Terminal Prognosis.

And this article may be helpful to his family as well: Anticipatory Grief and Mourning.

I like this article that Marty once posted:

Not everything is applicable in each situation, but I especially like the part about "In general, what is needed from a helper?".
