Sudden loss of my mother

If my kids showed the kind of interest in me that you did your mom, I would be a happy lady!  Missing two days out of two months is a darn good record!  I think kicking ourselves is what we do best when we lose someone...but we didn't have the knowledge then that we do now...we didn't know it would end this soon.  And we ALL get busy with our lives at the time we're living it.  I went on my sister's reunion (which I did once a year) the weekend my husband had his heart attack and died.  Why did it happen that weekend?!  Yet no way could I have known...
