  1. Dear Kay - you are loved and sincerely appreciated by MANY. Thanks for your support eleven years ago when I lost my Jeannie. I hope your fond memories of George bring you some peace and smiles too today.
  2. Thanks for the reminder. Time for a small Thank You for all the help when my sweet wife Jeannie passed away 11 years ago. This group and its members helped me survive.
  3. Thanks Janka - hugs are always appreciated. Happy 2016 to you also - nice to meet you.
  4. Deborah - Happy New Year - I hope that 2016 finds you well and that you prosper as the year progresses. Thanks for your support over the years.

    Walter C,

  5. kayc - I am sure that you would agree that its also a poignant time for those of us who lost someone several years ago.
  6. Thanks Marty - lots of humorous trailers here to watch! Your kind help and encouragement for over a decade has been appreciated.
  7. Happy New Year to everyone on this group. It has been 11 years since I was last able to wish my sweet Jeannie a Happy New Year and I still miss her dearly. Thanks to all the members of this fine group who have helped me over the years, especially in the early going when I doubted the reason for carrying on. I wish you all the best for 2016.
  8. Dear Teny - I was thinking of you as I watched the news. I pray that you find some peace soon. Love ....
  9. (((((((kay)))))) - I don't visit here much anymore, but something "told" me to come and check today. Bless you and thanks for all the help you gave me 10 years ago and for the help that you continue to give to others as they travel the difficult path we treaded together a decade ago.
  10. Harry Thanks for this article. I notice that you stsrted this thread on the 10th Anniversary of my wife's death. I used to contribute to this group for a few years, but found that became unable to offer any constructive help to others here, so now I just "check in" one in a while to see how things are going. I notice that you and others who were here when I was more active continue to offer helpful and thoughful articles and I thank you for that. I kept my ring, and later added my wife's ring on my left hand as a reminder of the strong everlasting love that we shared. As I continued to age the finger swelled and recently I had to stop wearing both. I still have the indentation to remind me and when that is gone I will try to wear the rings once again. The decision whether or not to continue wearing a ring is obviously a personal one - in my opinion there is NO right or wrong answer. Peace and Love to all......
  11. A belated Happy Birthday to you Harry. I hope that you enjoyed your special day.
  12. Sorry, I forgot those hugs (((((Deborah))))) x 12.
  13. Dear Deborah, Never forget the Love of Larry! And always remember the good friends that you have here. Your posts never depress me, they let me know that someone else feels the same way I do, even nine years after our loss. Walt C.
  14. Hello dear friends Teny, Kay, Marty ,Mary and Deborah. It has been a long time since I have visited here, but I do miss you all. This site and it's wonderful members saved my sanity over the past nine years. I wish you a Happy and prosperous New Year. Walt C.
  15. Deborah - Thank You for your email message. I tried to send you a PM, but could not. Your note cheers me up a bit. I feel honoured to be considered your friend and I hope that I have helped even just a little in the past. I am so sorry to read of the loss of your dear pet - I remember the grief when my Westie passed several years ago. I know that Larry will be with you in spirit this Holiday Season and you will feel his presence. May the peace and joy of this season remain with you for the coming New Year.Love, Walter C.
