As the state's leading provider of hospice and palliative care, Hospice of the Valley is proud of our continuing commitment to serve everyone, regardless of ability to pay. In 2010, thanks to the generous support of individuals like you, we raised $8 million in charity funding. Our latest annual report - accessible below - details our funding, services and community activities. Meanwhile, we're pleased to expand our online educational outreach through our new YouTube page!

HOV a top 100 Arizona employer

Hospice of the Valley ranked 79 in The Arizona Republic's annual survey of the state's largest 100 employers. HOV had 1,566 full-time equivalent employees as of Dec. 31, 2010, the newspaper reported in its April 24 issue. Click here to read more.

Educational videos posted on new YouTube page

Hospice of the Valley now has a YouTube page featuring a number of educational videos. Topics of videos currently posted include our hospice services, dementia care and the importance of having advance directives. 2010 annual report released

In 2010, Hospice of the Valley became the state's only hospice to provide 24/7 care with on-duty staff. We also developed programs to serve communities with shared cultures, religions and experiences, and we expanded our palliative care services to reach more chronically ill patients in their homes. Help us win a free solar electric system!

Hospice of the Valley has been selected as a finalist to win a solar photovoltaic system worth $100,000 from SRP. Three local nonprofit organizations will win a system through SRP's EarthWise™ Energy program. The contest winner is determined by online voting from SRP customers enrolled in the EarthWise program. Patient care team creates a Hawaiian anniversary

Patient Joe Piscione wasn't able to return to Hawaii with his wife Diana to make their 44th anniversary dream come true, so Hospice of the Valley staff brought Hawaii to them. To read their story, click here .
