I wanted to thank you all for replying. I really appreciate it. These past few months especially have been hard because my dad got engaged and is getting married in september (he moved it back from april to september because of me). I just don't know what to do....I miss my mom so much, and having a new lady in my life is so hard. I don't want to accept it but I know I have to. Any advice?

I know how you are feeling. You go through the whole "I am so upset how could this happen to ME." You've got to realize that you're going through this for a reason. It was your mother's time to go. Just as it was my mother's time to go. We don't understand it, and we may never understand it, but it's time to accept it. It's had when you think there is no one out there that feels the same way as you. But we do! I know EXACTLY what you're going through. If you ever need someone to talk to, don't hesitate to talk to me. The holidays are going to be hard...I know it. It will be the first thanksgiving without my mom, and the first christmas. I am not looking forward to it, but it's something we have to go through whether we like it or not. So we should make the best of it. If you ever want to talk, email me. I know how you are feeling. The tears have been similar in my situation as well.

I lost my mother a little less than three months ago to cancer and I was alright for a while...but lately I've been a mess. I am 18 years old and am looking for someone to talk to that is around my own age and has gone through something similar. If anyone is interested could you please email me? I know exactly how you're feeling. My mother died almost three months ago...she had a very similar situation. She had breast cancer, went through chemo, radiation, and a double mastectomy. After that it came back, metastasized to her liver, bones, lymphnodes, spleen, and lungs. I think I would really enjoy talking to you. It might do us both some good.
