I understand your "could da, should da" I took my husband to the emergency room on a Thursday, overnight they looked for the right blood with antibodies. He was on oxygen and just barely hanging on, but on Friday night after I had been there, he called and sounded like he always did cheery. I said to him, I would come back up there and he said, no, you can't see at night to drive. I also said I had scheduled a workshop for the next day. As usual he thought about my well being and say, no, go and enjoy. He and I both were in deep denial. I am still feeling guilty for not going to have that last sharing and holding him because by the time I arrived on Saturday he had slipped back into oxygen with his eyes closed. Kathie
