  1. Hi folks. Maybe somebody else will relate to this. While my daughter was battling cancer, I asked god so many time to take me instead. I started doing everything bad for me it seems, to make me go instead of her. Well, she passed away and I'm still here stuck with a self destructive attitude (drinking too much, smoking too much, not eating well etc..) I keep trying to pull out of it because I still have a 12 year old son to raise and I need to be here for my wife and him. It's really tough. Anybody else have this problem and what did you do about it? Thanks Brian
  2. Hi Don. I am sorry for your loss. There are going to be so many things that will be reminders. Just last week I got a jury summons for my daughter in the mail. You are also iin my prayers. Brian
  3. Mine is "fix You" by Coldplay. My daughter liked it and I do too. It's amazing how certain tunes can make you completely fall apart. In a black hole? Yea, I'm still there. It's only been almost 5 months. God bless all. Brian
  4. Twhittle. Let me just say how sorry I am for your loss. Everybody's loss for that matter. I too lost my 25 year old daughter to ovarian cancer on June 2nd 2006. She died in our arms literally. She was pregnant while going through chemo and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. (doing great, although I didn't think it would be so). By losing a child, we are all in a club that I hope nobody ever has to join. I know what your going through. My wife and I are zombies still, and there is nothing anybody can say or do, that will help. My daughter leaves behind her husband, an 8 year old daughter and a 1 year old son. My wife and I, along with the other grandparents are taking care of the kids while our son in-law works. I wish I had an answer as to what will help. I'm searching for that too. You will never forget her and will think about her everyday. I pray for you and everybody else that has to go through this. At this point, I can't see what good is coming out of this. I had made a web page for Ronna (our daughter) to help any other young women with rare cancers. Ronna was number 12 in the world. If your interested, it's here. www.ronnaclark.com God bless all of you, and if you need to talk, as I will down the road, email or post to me. I'm here. Sincerely, Brian
