I ready your story and although I am years late to this response I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone in this feeling of extreme hurt and loneliness years after the death of someone important. In fact that is something I am really struggling with right now 8 years after her passing. Why does it hurt more now why does it feel like things are moving in reverse. I don’t know but I do what it feels like and that no amount of time could ever heal the hole she left in my life. I wish you peace and comfort in your loss.
