I am sill over here reading your post and going through this thing we call grief, without any pain killers that is a plus for me today. Keeping the Faith Jackie

  14. Hi Chai, I am sorry you are having such a difficult time, Thanks for sharing that video with us it is very special. I loss my mother 2 months ago and the shock is wearing off. Now I am missing her like crazy so I do know how you feeling. I wish I could have done a viedo however I do not know how to do that. So I just enjoy yours and others who know how to do those things. I have lost of pictures of Mommie so I just look at them and enjoy them, I am not as sad when I look at them now.if I feel joy. just remember her, and feel the joy we shared. Mommie was 69 so young. Lawrence my husband was 56 even younger so I am now a widow at the age of 47. I am happy to have had my mother as long as I did however it still seems she was too young to leave. I am happy for them both as they were very ill the both of them. Cancer seems so unfair and takes our loves ones so quickly. You be good to yourself as you go through this process. How old are you is I may ask? This seem to be a long process, however together WE can get through this. So keep posting and feeling. Oh and like you I can't sleep think about the both of them it just cripples me at times, however I must go on because that is what they both would have wanted, I just don't know how somedays. Much Love Keep the Faith Jackie
  15. Hi Nicole, I am not your age, and could perhaps be your grandmother, however I loss my mother on Nov 15( two days before your Dad Chai) I understand and feel your pain. Indeed having someone your age to talk to will help and I know if you please keep coming here and reading and posting, this too will help as it has helpled me. I had 2 major losses this year, my husband(Lawrence) on Good Friday 03/21/2008 then Mom(Virginia) on 11/15/2008. I know because of my coming here reading everyones post and sharing by e-mail with a couple people I am having some good days, not all however I will take what I can get. The shock of my mother is wearing off and now I am missing her like crazy, this is all normal which I learned here. You Please take care of yourself and take it slow. Keep the Faith Jackie
  16. Hi Temmie, I am also happy you are feeling better, and of cource you are a great teacher. When we are down it is strange how much me all everything in our lives into our feelings, when we are feeling down nothing is right. I have got to find a way to seperate things when I feel down. Again I am happy to hear you are feeling better today, all we have is a day at a time. Keep the Faith my friend. Jackie
  17. Hi Leeann, I am sorry no one else remembered your special Mother. I am not going to say I understand because I do not. I do feel your pain however. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this day. You are were you are suppose to be at this moment in time. Keep the Faith Jackie

I want to make a bear and have be unable to find a place to do it, build a bear may be the place, however I am not sure if they will us my material I have it is worth a try. Thanks for that information. I do not have a recording, the bear would be just great for me so I will look into that. Again I am happy you found us here. I have found this site very helpful for me. I come here alot at night due to the fact that I am unable to sleep most nights. I loss my bloved husband in March of 2008 and then my mother in Noverber 2008. 20. He Lauren, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad, I too am daddies little girl. You must be feeling a great loss. I am also happy to hear you did get to spend some quality time with him before he passed. I am also sad to hear about your grandfather, you and your entire family our in my prayers. Take care of yourself as much as you can, however you have to feel the grief as hard as it is some days. I so understand the empty hole you explaned as I have it also, I loss my mother on Nov 15 and husband on March 21 both in the same year. I am on my way to my fathers house, he is ill now also. I hold on to the saying the God does not put on more than you can bear. So I just keep moving as I pray you are doing. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and always. Keeping the Faith Jackie
  21. Hi Gail, I can't tell you I know how you feel, because I do not, it has not yet been 1 year for me however I can say. You have been an encouragement to me as many other people as said. As you Celebrate your husbands 2 year anniversary, I pray you do something nice for yourself, like perhaps purchase something for yourself that you KNOW, he would have gotten you. This may sound strange to you, however I shared I did this for myself on X-mas and it really made me feel good. Perhaps you will find the same joy. It is amazing how the time goes so quickly and fast. My friend please remember to take care of yourself on this special day. My heart goes out to you and you will forever be in my prayers. Take care of my friend (((((((((((((((((((((((Gail)))))))))))))))))))))) Keeping the Faith Jackie
  22. Thanks so much everyone, sometime this process just sucks. Oh the memories....I love you all and thanks again for all the love and support. Keeping the Faith Jackie
  23. Hi Mel, I am praying for you, I can't even imagine what you are going through now. This seems like alot to be responsible for. With my Lawrence we had one service and then on his birthday me and my granddaughter took his ashes to the park where he wanted them and let them go. For my mother we had the Church Service, then a month later took her ashes to the grave yard and put them in the urn, next when they put her name on her plack we will have our last service so emotional and I am sure this is emotional for you. I am sending my prayers your way along with hugs.... In the mist of all this please remember to take care of my friend ((((((((((((((((((Mel))))))))))))))))) Oh Mel I almost forget Thanks so much for sharing that e-mail with us, that is so sweet....The Love that came out of that is truly amazing.... Keep the Faith Jackie
  24. Hi ThinkingSpring, I am so happy you went to see your Dad and what he has done with your mothers urn, I think that is very nice. I have on my fireplace a picture of my husband and mother with 2 white candles. Sounds like you and I have something in common as far as the time frame our love ones had cancer. My husband was re-diagnosed with cancer in July 2007 her first got cancer in the spring of 2005, and he was gone within 8 months not even one year. He too also had lung cancer first as well as my mother. Her cancer returned in her pancreac and liver, she lived after that for almost 2 years. I agree with Shelley you are doing good to have lost your mother just a couple of weeks ago. You Keep the Faith and keep coming here I know I need you and I will be here for you if I could be of any help. Just your being here helps, we are on this journey together. Jackie
  25. Hi Mary Linda, You are in my thoughts and prayers as you celebrate your dear ones anniversary, Please be good to yourself. And as everyone before me said you are a very special Lady. God Bless You and Keep the Faith. Jackie
