I just want to say that I went through a time of deep grief when my infant son died. I turned to alcohol trying to blot out the pain. It didn't work. I got into a flower pot load of trouble. It helps to talk with someone who understands the pain you're going through. My faith in God helped me through it all.

After suffering the loss of a child, I came across a novel by Alexandria, La. author Rebekah Kasey called Callie's Redemption. It helped a lot to read it. It touches on grief, alcoholism, mental illness, and turning to your higher power for guidance. I felt different after reading it. Hope this helps.
