MartyT
Dear Ones,Attached as a pdf file is an article that appears in the April 11, 2006 issue of Death Care Business Advisor, a publication aimed at funeral directors and cemetery operators (see pages 3, 4, and 5). The article advocates better understanding of how to deal with families grieving the loss of a cherished pet -- hooray! We are making progress! Maylissa
Just wanted to say "thanks, Marty!" for that recent info. I intend to pass it on to anyone I know who would be interested in this more progressive attitude. It will likely be many years, though, until funeral directors in Canada pick up on this, as we're normally about a decade behind the U.S. in many sectors. Still, it's hopeful...and IT'S ABOUT TIME!!! I'm also glad they printed your synopsis on Myths around Animal Loss...so glad you got a foot in the door!!
