chris.m
I am not doing good at all as the victim was a friend but I wondering by continuing to keep communication with the mother am I helping her or making her grief worse? I am new here and want to talk.
MartyT
I'm so sorry for your loss, and I appreciate your concern about how best to support your friend's mother when you're also mourning this death. Your question reminds me of another young man who found himself in a similar situation, uncertain about contacting the mother of his dear friend who was killed. Kieron
I think it says a lot about the quality of your character that you are asking the question, so you can be the best support you can be to the person's grieving mother. 😊
kayc
Definitely be there for your friend. I can't think of a worse way to lose someone than murder or suicide, very very hard. I lost my husband to a sudden heart attack and all my friends disappeared on me, it would have been helpful to have a true friend during that time, someone like you, that cares. You are doing your friend a great service. I know it's hard for you too and I'm sorry for your loss. 1
