Laurensftb
It'll be five years since i went through the hardest thing ever losing my dad on July 3ard. And now we found out my grandpa has cancer, and isn't doing good at all they gave him three to two years to live. He doesnt look the same hes yellow and sleeps all the time. I couldnt imagine losing him to. It was hard enough losing my dad at 11 when i didn't have tons and tons of memories with him like i do with my grandpa. I've always been grandpas little girl. So i try not to let it get to me or think about having to go through everything i went through with my dad. I just pray that he can fight this, and be strong.. AnnieO
Lauren,I am so sorry to hear about your grandfather. I never knew my grandfathers, so when you said you have always been grandpa's little girl, that made me smile, that must be a wonderful feeling. You are in my thoughts. shell
Lauren,I'm so sorry. Try not to "anticipate" too much. Try to cope by living it day by day.Big hugs,Shell
Leann
Hello, Lauren:I'm so sorry that you have had to go through so much at such a young age. As Shell wisely wrote you, try your best just to take one thing at a time, one day at a time. This can be easier said than done sometimes, but it's the best any of us can do. Also, please keep in touch with us here on the boards....this is a truly safe, caring place. My thoughts and prayers are with you.Hugs,Leann
