This announcement comes to us from Wings™ -- A Grief Education Ministry:

Mystical Experiences ~ Survey on After Death Communication

It is estimated that 20-40% of the population has experienced one or more after death communications (ADC). An ADC is defined as: an experience when you are contacted directly and spontaneously by a deceased family member or friend, without the use of psychics, mediums, rituals, or devices of any kind. While some people contend that this is wish fulfillment, grief hallucinations, or desires, those who have had the experiences believe they are real.

Others consider this moment as a "gift." According to research, the purpose of these visits and signs by those who have died is to offer comfort, reassurance, and hope to their parents, spouse, siblings, children, grandchildren, other family members, and friends.

After death communications may occur in many different ways such as:

• Sensing or feeling the presence of your loved one

• Smelling a familiar food, fragrance, etc.

• Hearing his/her voice

• Feeling a touch

• Visual experiences

• Vivid dreams that appear real.

We are collecting stories to substantiate the belief that life and love are eternal. Please share your story with us. A collection of accounts may be published at a later date. (Your identity will be protected. Full names will not be published, but your first name and state may be.) Providing your address information will allow us to mail "permission forms," if your story is selected for publication.

You can send your story via land mail or e-mail, or you can fill out a form online (addresses are given below). Please include the following with your story:

• Name/ Address/ City/ State/ Zip

• Phone

• E-mail address

• Your story

• Your general feeling after you had the experiences (i.e. relieved, sad, happy)

I am glad this subject is being addressed. I get many ADCs from my ex-husband. All the ones listed, plus he has moved things in my apartment (his books on a shelf, a door opening by itself which both my sister and I saw.) Although an ADC does not take away the pain of missing them, they are comforting and a reassurance that love and life continue, and we will see our loved ones again one day when it is our time.

It's strange how my friend came to me in a dream telling me that it was his time to go, that he was going to a better place, that he was finally happy and free, and he told me not to be sad. It is also strange that I didn't see his face as he was telling me those things; it was like I was seeing through his eyes the place that he was going to. This dream came to me on the day he died and it was before I found out he died. This wasn’t the first time I had a dream like this. The other time was when my grandpa died. I had that dream at the exact time he died. I just dismiss it as coincidence. How could it be a coincidence, twice, when I hadn’t expected their deaths. They weren’t dying or given a death sentence. So, it wasn’t expected. There was another time my friend came to me, this time I was awake. I heard his voice and just before I heard his voice I saw a faint flash of light. It startled me. He was telling me something like "you're watching my videos, it's ok, I'm glad you are, see to it that you watch them all." He had left a hugh box full of music videos and Hollywood movies on videocassettes. There was one tape at the bottom of the box, a blank tape, I put it in the VCR, and, what would you know, he is on the tape. I realized, then, that's why he told me to see to it that I watch them all.

I should check out Sandy and Ocallah.

This is so fascinating. I've had similar experiences and I'm glad this subject was brought up. I definitely believe that people and pets that we've lost still communicate with us.

Ousontmesamis,

How wonderful that you've had these experiences! Yep, you should defintiely check out Sandy and Ocallah!

In a message received this morning via e-mail, our friend Sandy Goodman writes,

We (the LND4U Organization) are planning a retreat for the fall of 2008. We INTEND to have it in a central U.S., warm enough to enjoy the outdoors, location. We are looking at Sept. or Oct., a total cost to you of less than $400 for Fri-Sun meals, workshops, and rooms. We have invited several Psychic Mediums and have had positive replies from most of them. We INTEND to have workshops about ADC's, meditation, and other types of alternative HEALING modalities. Most importantly we INTEND to offer a place and time for all of us to connect, to heal, and to share our loved ones with each other.

If you are interested, PLEASE go to the forum at http://www.loveneverdies4u.org/forum/ and scroll down to the last section. Read all of the threads about the Retreat. Give us your feedback. If you haven't registered to post yet, PLEASE DO. We need to hear from you.

Read more about Sandy's ADC experiences in this feature article, http://www.quickandsimple.com/article.php?id=528&menu=0.

Love Never Dies (LND4U) Retreat Information Update, received from Sandy Goodman:

The "Can we Do it?" February 14th deadline has come and gone and I am so sorry to have to tell you that our retreat, planned for Sept. 12-14th of this year, is officially canceled. We simply do not have the numbers that we need to make it a go this fall. I am sooooo sorry we have not been able to make it work.

LND4U has a very small purse that is very, very empty. In other words, we have no money. Hence the need to have a minimum number of participants at any kind of event we plan. Obviously, our financial situation is something we need to add to our brainstorming list when our board meets next month, as well as how to apply for a federal tax exemption (a daunting task) and how to reach more people with our chat and our forum . . . and . . . well, please feel free to send any thoughts or ideas our way. WE ARE YOUR ORGANIZATION.

Again, I am very, very sorry. I am encouraged that we will continue to grow as an online organization, using our chat room and our forum to meet and support one another, FOR NOW. As our numbers grow and our relationships strengthen, we WILL make a retreat/conference a reality.

Marty,

Christine is a wonderful person and helped me considerably. She showed me signs to look for and how to communicate better with Steve. This is what happened the other day:

About 10 years ago Steve had gotten me a gold bracelet for Christmas that I loved and wore all the time. A few years after that he had gotten me another one and when I went to get the older one to show him how simular they were I could not find the older one and looked for it for many years with no luck. A couple years later he got me another one and I wore the two together all the time. Well I tend to wear my silver jewelry more in the summer and my gold in the colder months and I went to make the switch and was devastated to find out I could only find one bracelet. This was very odd as they were always kept together and worn together. I searched high and low with no luck. I finally sat down at my desk at home and looked up at Steve's picture and out loud said to him that I needed his help finding the other bracelet as I was very upset to not be able to find it. As fast as the words came out of my mouth I got the very overpowering thought to look in a purse in my bedroom. Well I though that was odd as first of all I have many purses to look through and second that I never put my jewelry in my purses. I got up immediately and the first purse I took out I opened the zipper portion and low and behold, there was not only one bracelet but two of them ! The bracelet I had been wearing was the one I had lost many many years ago and the other two were in the purse. I now wear all three bracelets that he gave me with great pride and still am amazed at how quickly I was told exactly where to find them !

Love,

Wendy

This message comes to us via e-mail (12/02/08 @ 3:10 p.m.) from Judith:

hi there..

Sorry to bother you but I was wanting people's experiences about what ADC's they had, or why they had come to believe the way they do about life after death. I have complied a few, I want to put them either in a book or on a Web site,to help folks understand . . . I want a broader spectrum. I hate to say I'm writing a book ,I might not, and I just want from the heart what experiences there are out there. I just wondered if some of your people would want to share some with me: judith888@gmail.com

Whatever you think is ok with me. I just feel the need to get some of these tales in print..

hugs

Thanks to our friend Sandy Goodman, over the weekend I was notified of the following radio program, which I've just now had a chance to review. I now want to share it with any of you who may be interested. It's a nice opportunity to "meet" Allison Dubois (the inspiration behind NBC's hit show, MEDIUM) as she discusses her beliefs and experiences regarding after-death communication, life after death, and grief and loss. She is interviewed during the first 20 minutes of the program:

Join Us for an interview with Allison Dubois on The Psychic and The Doc Radio Show

Mrs. Dubois talks about her life as a medium, shares her experiences of communicating with the other side, and discusses her upcoming events and activities. From solving homicide cases in the District Attorney's office to touching the lives of families suffering from grief, she has a unique experience that will surely touch the heart and soul of radio listeners. Please join Mary Jo and her son Brett (the psychic and the doc) as they visit with Allison, online at www.thepsychicandthedoc.com

This just in from Sandra Champlain of We Don't Die Radio:

Happy Wednesday! Sorry it has taken me some time to get these new episodes up. I had been traveling then had some technology problems. I'm not as smart on the computer as I thought I am.

Here are the AWESOME new episodes on www.wedontdieradio.com (they really are good if I do say so myself)

026 Peggy S. Imm-Anesi - Peggy lost 2 children, many friends and family in a short period of time. Add to that losing all personal belongings during Hurricane Sandy. Peggy shares why she KNOWS life after death is real.

027 Linda Stirling - From extreme physical pain and suffering to complete healing. Extremely interesting the view on sickness and suffering and how it relates to being human.

028 Erica McKenzie RN - This nurse speaks of her own death and experience and why our uniqueness and self love is ultra important why we are on earth.

029 Dr. Penny Sartori - Talking to me from the UK, Penny's doctoral research was studying near death experiences. She shares the elements that prove it is ALL REAL.

030 Janine Baryza-Ly - she is medium and talks about how she first began connecting with the deceased and what the importance of this life is.

031 Pam Kircher MD - dying at a young age shaped her life to become a doctor, work with the dying and amazing how all people that experience a near death experience, remember it like it was just yesterday. Wow.

032 Burge Smith-Lyons - very powerful episode that has a LOT about living life powerfully. Fun lady too!

As a reminder, you can listen to the episodes directly on iTunes from your phone, iPad or tablet or your computer with ease: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/we-dont-die/id905138487

OR you can see the guests' pictures and just beneath it press the play button for each episode at: http://www.wedontdieradio.com

I have gotten so many emails that people have listened to every single episode and are waiting for more. Wow. I love the conversations myself and am so grateful they helping others as well. You're not going to fear death and you'll know your loved ones are with you after listening to the shows. Very empowering. I actually re-listen to episodes when I drive. My life is not perfect and they really help me as well!

Hope you have a wonderful day my prayer for all of us is we find a little laughter today to lift our spirits…

Your friend,

Sandra
