melina Posted October 8, 2010 Report Share Posted October 8, 2010 Does anyone else feel like they're still waiting for their spouse to come home? My husband's shoes and jacket are still in the hallway. We just moved into our house one month before he died, so there's still a lot to do. If I unpack boxes, put books on the shelves or buy something for the house and put it up, I almost feel like I'm expecting my husband to come home and say something about it. It's as though it's not really done until he gives it some sort of compliment or suggests something different.
