azusaman
Hi all, It's been a while since I was on this site and I was thinking about all the people I used to communicate with and how they are doing. Music has been a big help to me over the last year and 7 mos. I'd like to share this song with you all...it makes me sad and happy at the same time thinking about my Adrianne. I don't even know if that's possible but here it is.

azusaman
It does the same thing for me. Music can be very therapeutic in the grieving process.
Dimcl
Azusaman, I was very tempted to listen to the song, but decided against it. Unfortunately, I find that listening to music just breaks my heart. I tried last night, as it happens, and was immediately transported back to all the waltzes that Glenn and I had danced over the years, and I had a total meltdown. I've tried before, but I can't glean even any bittersweet memories from my music, so I'm having to forego it until it doesn't hurt so much. I keep trying, but so far I can't. kayc
I understand Dimci, it is hard for me too...music really gets to me. George and I had so many "our songs", my son made a wedding CD for us with our songs on it, and we added to that repertoire even more! The one song that I do find comfort in is "The Dance" because it's my stance...I wouldn't have missed one moment with George for anything in the world, no matter what pain came because of losing him. I guess to live and love is to risk pain and loss, but life would be flat without it.
