But I still sometimes get the urge to run and tell my dad some news of something going on in my life. Then I remember I can't. And I sit for a minute really in disbelief that he's not here. ref Posted December 28, 2011 Report Share Posted December 28, 2011 To be sure, I am a newbee to this group (my wife died 3 weeks ago), but I found myself turning the TV down last night because it might bother her, then realized that she is not there.
