kayc
Raven, Yes, he's very OCD and focuses on something to the exclusion of something else, I mean way overboard. He's extremely intelligent, gentle, kind...also blunt (lacking in tact). It took a while to get used to it but once I understood Asperger's it helped me know what to expect/not to expect. He's very artistic to the exclusion of the other side of the brain. Paperwork is nada! But his house is neat and clean and everything in it's place. His sleeping habits are whacked out, he might be awake all night or might sleep for days. But the nicest guy... Yes, it wouldn't be easy being married to someone like that. I didn't realize his condition until after we were engaged. My sister helped me a lot because she's been married to an Aspie for nearly 50 years. Some things she takes care of, other things he does. They're a great team though, and now she's practically blind and he has to drive her everywhere, I'm glad they have each other.
