The following comes to us from Susan Levine, Executive Director of Hospice of the Valley:

Dear Friends,

As we head into the dog days of summer, what better way to transcend the heat than to shop the "Christmas in July" sale at the White Dove Thrift Shoppe? Read all about the sale and more in this issue of eNews.

'Christmas in July' starts July 2 at the White Dove

Get a jump start on next season's holiday shopping and save a bundle during "Christmas in July" at the White Dove Thrift Shoppe, with locations in Phoenix and Scottsdale. Both stores will be loaded with Christmas trees, wreaths, village sets, ornaments, stockings and cards. Prices for most items are 50 to 75 percent lower than typical retail. Proceeds benefit Hospice of the Valley patients and families. Click here for more information.

Visit us on Facebook

Keep up with the latest happenings at Hospice of the Valley on our Facebook page, including a recent donation by Rural Metro employees who paid for the privilege of wearing jeans to work with contributions going to Hospice of the Valley.

Save the Date for Wine: Sept. 28

Mark your calendar for our annual "Off the Vine Vintage Wine Auction," which takes place Sept. 28 at the Royal Palms Resort & Spa in Phoenix. This year will be better than ever for collectors of rare or reserve wines as well as people who simply enjoy a festive evening with friends to support a worthwhile cause. Click here for more information.

Changes coming

We're excited to report that Hospice of the Valley soon will have a newly redesigned website and e-newsletter. Look for your next issue of eNews in September.

[Note from Marty T: Please be aware that these changes also will include moving our Grief Discussion Forums to our new location! Be sure to review the ARCHIVING YOUR POSTS announcement (located at the very top of each of our forums) for details! Right now this move is expected to be happening near the end of September.]

Best wishes for a relaxing summer!

Sincerely,

Susan Levine
