This Just Might Be The Smartest Way To Get Over Your Ex

In the video above, SoulPancake offers up a 5-step plan for getting over your addiction to your ex -- one that addresses both your physical and emotional needs. (The first step? Put in some one-on-one time with a boxing bag to release all that anger. The second step? List all the hard-won things you've learned from the relationship.)

Very good, Marty. I could have written something similar without the benefit of brain mapping, just from my experience. I know I cleaned my house thoroughly when Jim broke up with me, releasing physical energy and occupying my time and attention. It's also important to look back and see what you've learned and write out what you want next time while it's still fresh in your mind. I did that when John and I split up. It's good to check off against should you start dating again, especially if you're one of those people that can "overlook" things in an effort to make things work. Compare to your list, if the person isn't stacking up, keep on moving! :)
