Our Own Dear Fae

Recommended Posts

As you wake up to a new day, dear fae, may you have peace in knowing that those who love you are right beside you. One thing I know for sure and that is your Doug is right there with you watching over you. My sincere hope is that any test results you have are clear and that if and when you have the surgery you know that we are sitting around our fire sending only good thoughts. God's speed to you.

QMary ~ safe travels as you take your your former son-in-law to see his lung specialist. May he receive only good news on this day before Thanksgiving.

Thank you thank you gentle beings!

The dust arrived with sparkling cheer,

and snowflakes frosted all the trees.I think we are headed to a very good year.

The PET scan came back completely clear. Not a bit of atomics anywhere.

Now I rest and walk and strengthen

My stride and trips will daily lengthen.

By Monday, I expect the chap who wields knife and wears the cap

Will take the time to make new stitches and knots

And will be able to go home with mended spots.

The great and news is no cncer, so on Blitzen, and Ruddolph and Dancer!

HURRAY!

I cannot see due to drops in my eyes,so please excouse the typos.

This is most wonderful news, dear fae. You still have a ways to go, but I hope that you are getting the rest and healing you need. It sounds like Monday is the next big decision.

Know that we are all keeping you close to our hearts. Have a good day today. Love, Anne

Thank you all and Happy thanksgiving.

I heard a rumor that we will be having turkey later.

NOw it is time to go for a lovely walk around the entire wing of the hospital, unfortunately with a guard in tow. I mean, ahem, a helper. I admit my banance clould be better these mornings.

Happy Day to each of you.

Jenny is smugling a trufle for lunch. :)

Wonderful news Fae, now on to the next item to be fixed, then heal and rest. Will be thinking of you and sending very positive thoughts your way.

Since I mentioned taking my former SIL to doctor here previously, I will give quick update. They are not sure of the fluid in lungs, believe they are thinking the C word. He goes back next Tuesday to see a surgeon, they will schedule draining of the fluid and looking inside his lung with a little camera before Christmas. They may need to do biopsy also. Not looking real good for him, and he has steadily been losing weight. Very worried for him. His parents are coming from Las Vegas for Christmas, I am glad.

Fae, go easy on the truffles.

Mary, I'm sorry. You seem to be in the same whirlwind I feel caught in.

I'll send you both some healing energy. The good thing is the more I give away the more I have to work with.

Peace,

Harry

Oh, Harry, smile, my truffle turned into an M&M. :)

Mary, I hope they can biopsy the fluid, which is often done. the weight loss does not sound good at all.

at 3 am they put a special port line in arm so I won't be getting sticked 15 times each day, hurray!

now all I want to do is sleep. The surgeon will be here Sunday or Monday, so meanwhile, my hob is to eat, not lost any more weight, and do laps of the building.

stay warm everyone, and Harry, I wish I had dome of your lovely energy around me, so toss a bit of dust then you can. :)

HI Fae:

You have a lot going on there. You have been through so much and yet you have a wonderful attitude. You are an inspiration. You are so right about making it through one day at a time. That is all we can do, right?

Please continue to take care of yourself.

xoxo,

Audra

fae,

So glad to hear your news! I called Anne on my way to my son's Thanksgiving and she told me (I wasn't on line yesterday or night before), SO HAPPY TO HEAR IT! That was the thing I was most thankful for.

I enjoyed a nice day and my son and DIL's, she fixed a wonderful dinner...I abstained from the roll and pumpkin pie but there was plenty I could eat on my Prism plan. :)

Just got home 1 1/2 hours ago, started my ulcer treatment...not looking forward to the side effects.

Hello Everyone,

The very good news is that my surgery is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, at 2:45 pm. I may be in the hospital a few days after the surgery until I am stronger. I am very relieved that I will be feeling better in a few days.

So, prayers tomorrow, and even toda, most certainly welcome and thank you.

That is so good to hear! I'll find out more about my gall bladder Thursday...if and when I get it out. I'm anxious to be on the mend, and I know you are too!

Fae, you will be in my heart tomorrow, thinking of you and sending positive thoughts for the surgery, and the healing afterwards. Kay, thinking of you also, and hope you find out more to help you in your decisions on Thursday.

QMary, Thank you for your concern, I appreciate it. I'm about to go nuts from the being alone/shut in for the last five weeks, not to mention the pain.

I'm in treatment for the ulcers and Bronchitis, and I'm losing weight to help my liver, I'm taking Milk Thistle for it and Magnesium for the gallstones, and when I get the gallbladder out I can begin healing from that and put this behind me.

fae, We miss you! Sending you loving thoughts your way.

Very dear Fae, I can't say it any better than Anne has said it already:

You know we all will be gathered around our fire sending energy to you as you have your surgery. Doug will be there with you as all of us will be throwing fairy dust all over that operating room. Sending love to you.

Thank you all for your warm and loving thoughts.

If you grew up on a ranch, you know what a chemical dip is. I have had my first of three, with another to follow later tonight and then one tomorrow morning. I was carefully and compassionately scrubbed down with a special mixture that kills anything living on my skin. We were laughing about having a chemical dip, like we do to cattle.

By tomorrow surgery time,I should be a very germ-free person. Two more to go.

I was praying this morning, and I could feel Doug's love warming my heart and sending out a gentle glowing energy from within my heart, so I know he is here with me. I also feel the loving warmth from all of you, thank you. By this time tomorrow, I should be about ready to be wheeled from the OR and into recovery.

I am wrapping myself in all the loving warmth and *<fairy dust>* from the tribe.
