kayc
Janka, I hope you had a Merry Christmas as well, and everyone here got through the holidays intact. I didn't get to spend time on line, as I started my day out shoveling snow again, then went to the Christmas potluck at the museum with about 50 others that had no place to go. Last minute my daughter and SIL decided to come (weather predictions had prohibited an earlier decision) so as soon as I got home I started cooking up a storm and as soon as I was done, they walked in the door! They stayed until 8:30 but didn't get home until 10:45 because they had to go twice as slow due to the icy roads. I was thankful we got to spend some time together as none of my kids has been up all year, and that they made it home safely. This morning I was able to get a load of wood in without breaking my neck, so thankful for that as well. It was 16 degrees this morning! Brrr! Going through the wood!

Guest Janka
Well, the Christmas is gone, but I still have the Christmas tree with my beloved Jan´s ornaments inside.I´m sitting under, writing these words to all of you who know how terribly hard the Christmas always is and turned on the music I´m hardly able to let play else. It´s because I feel so horribly the last time that it doesn´t seem to get worse by letting play my most favourite music thus.I can´t stop play it,because I can´t forget what reminds me my beloved man Jan.It´s so sacred that I can´t do it,though it hurts so and always will. The pain leaves the scars, but they´re mine, made by my loss and grieving, but I love them as they´re such a proof of my greatest love I feel for my beloved Jan forever. These last days I cry so much...many problems got worse my grief...and I feel lost right now... My beloved Jan...my sweetest darling...my dearest sweetheart...my immortal beloved...please,hurry up,because I can´t live without you! Forever yours, Janka
kayc
I felt the dearth as well...I took my tree down when my son canceled coming New Year's. George loved Christmas and all of the holidays!
kevin
Well ,I'm going the opposite way..........I'm leaving my tree up year round, its only a 3 .5 ft tree on a small coffee table. The lighted tree with the star always makes me feel at peace......shutting down everything else. It was a Christmas of reflection, and I am grateful it went as well as it did......
hollowheart
Kevin, my mom has a tree in her bedroom, it's been up for over a year now. And this was before our loss, she just never took it down and enjoys the lights as her "night light". Unfortunately, it's been knocked over a couple of times and some of the ornaments fell off, lol. But it's still standing.
Guest Janka
Nascerà Gesù-Ricchi e poveri My dearest friends on our board! Took me so long to be able to listen this beautiful Christmas song I had been listening with my beloved man Jan in the car at the Christmas time. Now I have a power to let play this unforgettable music of us two again.Though with the tears in my eyes but happy yet, because I know it makes him happy too. "My beloved one...I send it from the bottom of my heart...just for you into the heaven...to put a shining smile on your so lovely face...Love you, love you, love you..."
