First let me say that I am so sorry for your loss. The loss of a loved one is definitely an eye opener. It changed my perspective on life as well. No, I do not think that it is weird that you are no longer afraid to die. I think you are quite normal, actually, and that the realizations you have had since your loss are good ones.
