Max, the burmese lilac, who belonged to our neighbours across the road but spent every day at our house, was hit by a car at 5am this morning and passed away. My heart is broken and I am still in the stage of denial. He was here every day for 6 years and he was loved on this road because of his friendly and loving nature. He was nosy and curious and all he cared about was being around people all the time and the fact he died alone on the road outside our house just kills me. I hate that there was nothing I could do. My family and I are truly broken
