  1. Welcome to the chat line that lets you talk about the one that's gone. No one hear will say."Well I have to be going...I can't make lunch(cause they don't want to hear you talk about grief). 2. Hi, This is Linda Kay/56 living in the Hickory area of NC. I too lost my honey 2 1/2 years ago. This is a great place to express yourself. No one chastizes you for whatever you're feeling that day. Welcome to the chat line.

  3. It hasn't rained in a while here in this part of NC. It's raining now. Used to be my favorite time with Scott. The dogs were nervous and would curl up for a nap beside us. We'd all take one till it stopped and they knew we were calm about the weather so they would be. Hey, Fla. had lots of thunder boomer storms. Up here is mild.So when it rains, I think about him alot.

  4. I wonder sometimes how do you start over at 56. I feel like 36 and have been told I look early 40's. All nice but what good is it when the spouse that looked and acted the same is gone. My generation never acted their age. When you had no children by choice you didn't notice the time going by. I'm not a mom or a grandmother. My interests don't go that way. I respect women that are.

  5. I live in NC and moved here five years ago. I lost Scott to suicide after 33 years together.

  6. I'm currently living in North Carolina instead of my former home in Tampa, Fla. I moved up here with my husband, Scott five years ago. He was a wonderful loving spouse of 33 years. He suffered depression and ended up committing suicide. Yes, he warned me it might happen one day. I had always thought it was a mental bailout plan to ease his mind. I didn't think it would really happen.
