Oh Chris, I lost my husband of almost 40 years [would have been on 20th April ] 3 weeks ago today, I feel just as you do I pray all day long to die, I cannot live without him, we have been together since we were teenagers, I just cannot bear it, I knew I would not be able to, I just love him so, I need him so, may God see the unbearable pain in my heart, and have mercy on me, I have read all your posts and know there is no relief in the near future for me. My husband had been ill for some years, he had heart failure and had a number of strokes, the last one on the 28th of December which put him in a coma, he was only 59,we had to fight the doctors for any treatment for him, he lived another 11 weeks and 1 day, I was with him nearly all the time, and at the last. When he took his last breath, I died with him.
