I appreciate all the kind words. I stumbled upon this site when I was looking for a support group near me-I’m glad I did. It’s helpful to know that other people are going through this and I’m not alone. I’ve felt that I am not handling my grief “properly” or that I should be done grieving by now since it’s been three months. Reading these posts make me realize that there is no correct or incorrect way to grieve and there is no timetable for how long you grieve. I hope to come back often. Thank you, Karen

I just lost my husband on February 9, a bit less than 3 months ago. My husband’s best friend is getting married on September 20th. September 16 would have been our 30th anniversary. I don’t know how I can go to the wedding and not sob. On top of that our daughter is getting married in October with no father to walk her down the aisle. I don’t know how I can do this alone.
