I took a purple balloon in the shape of a star that said Happy Birthday out to the cemetary. He loved birthdays and it was always great fun to surprise him. I am sure that he appreciated the surprise purple balloon for his birthday. He knew you would be there today for him and watches over you constantly. As long as you remember him, he'll never be completely gone from this world.Today is also the day when my husband had his fatal heart attack (though he lived on for four more days). I'm having a tough time, but I decided I'll think about at least one happy memory for each year he and I knew each other.
