Feeling So Different..so Alone

Thank you Korina and likewise I admire your courage and spirit. I believe healing is a choice and I know that Melissa would want to me to go on and live the kind of life we shared together. I feel so blessed to have been so loved, and continue to be loved. Melissa is not here in the physical sense, but she is still here, this is my experience. I feel when I close off my heart to love, either giving or receiving, is when I feel Melissa is not with me, and my Higher Power who I call God seems gone as well. It is my desire to have my heart remain open so I may continue to move through my grief and attain healing and freedom.

My prayer for the woman I encountered in this group is that she too finds ways to open her heart.
