I am so sorry for your loss. I am speechless. You have no idea how long I have wished I knew someone who could actually begin to understand what Dick and I went through prior to his death. Women in my support group try to understand what the pre and post transplant experience was like, but there is no way one can unless you have experienced it. Just read that your husband was a lung transplant patient. My Charlie got a single lung in 2003 and I am a year older than you. We may have some things in common.
