H_K
I've had my rabbit for almost 11 years but he passed away today. He was the most kind and caring rabbit ever. (Even if he bit my dad on the balls one time) I got Thumper at the tender age of 8 and now at the age of 18, I'm about to head off for university in a month. I can only be thankful that I was here and the one who found him after his passing. I feel like he knew I was about to leave and wanted me to be there for him. I want to cremate him and send his ashes into the ocean so that he'll have all the seven seas to play in. Thumper, you were the best damn rabbit anyone could ask for. I'll miss you buddy.

I am glad you are able to see the positive in it, I do think sometimes they wait for something, and it sounds like he picked just the right time. You will always carry him inside of you.
