Tears streaming
Nose stopped up
Looking at your bed in our room
Wondering if it's truly empty
With my head on your pillow filled with your toys
On the night before Thanksgiving 
As I listen to my neighbors celebrate life and each other with a house full of light and people 
As I sit in the dark
