With temperatures finally dipping below 100, it must be fall in Phoenix! The welcome cooler weather brings renewed energy to professional and personal endeavors, including these developments at Hospice of the Valley.

New Program Starts for Cancer Patients

When the hospice movement began nearly 40 years ago, cancer patients were the primary focus. Since then, hospice has broadened to serve people with a wider range of diagnoses. Cancer remains the number one diagnosis, affecting 37 percent of Hospice of the Valley's patients. Read more about HOV's new Oncology/Pain Program.

HOV Expands to Pinal County

HOV expands outside Maricopa County starting October 11, when services will be provided to the greater Casa Grande area in Pinal County. Visit here here for more information.

Light Up a Life Photo Deadline Nears

November 9 is the deadline to submit photos for Light Up a Life, the annual event honoring loved ones who have died. The photographic tribute set to music is the highlight of the outdoor community gathering, which starts at 6 p.m. November 21 at Steele Indian School Park in central Phoenix.
