MartyT
Dear Ones, I've just read an astonishingly honest book review by Mark S. King, an active AIDS activist, writer and community organization leader who blogs on his life as an HIV-positive gay man in recovery from addiction (at My Fabulous Disease). Mark's gripping review of his former lover's book is well worth reading, as it speaks to the breakup of a love relationship and its effects, from the perspective of both partners: Examining Death, Including the One I Caused. MartyT
I'm so pleased that you're reading it, Carol Ann. It's one of the most profoundly moving personal accounts of loss and healing through psychotherapy that I've ever read ~ it touched me deeply. I was truly blessed to have attended a presentation by the author, and to have met her in person afterward. I cannot imagine the courage it took for her to have written that book.
