HOPE

Hope is sometimes hard to see

Hope is necessary for me to be

Hope is my right

Hope helps me with my plight

Hope brings Light to the darkness

Hope shields me from those who are heartless

Hope is the tree that dances in the wind

Hope is my anchor when my life's a whirlwind

Hope is the mountain peak

Hope is my friend when I feel weak

Hope is my cat who purrs when I weep

Hope is what fuels me when the climb seems to steep

Hope is when one knows their life is a gift

Hope is what sustains me when life is adrift

Hope is in the flower

Hope is what sustains my power

Hope is my tears

Hope is the friend to all my fears

Hope is eternal like love

Hope is on the wings of the dove

Hope is when I see a smile

Hope is with me through every mile

Hope is sometimes hard to see

she tended gardens

pulled weeds, planted seeds, knowing

hearts grow like flowers
