Guest
My husband has been sick, in different forms (gout, colds, body aches, fever) since we lost our son in January. In a 3 month period he's been to see his doctor at least 6 times for different ills. I'm wondering if grief can take a toll on our immune systems, or if this could be internal strife that he is not dealing with properly. I've seen the swollen feet, taken the temperature myself, and witnessed his endless coughing and sniffling, so it's not hypocondria. He's sick. MartyT
Cindy, my dear, there is no doubt that grief can take a toll on our immune systems, which leaves us more vulnerable to whatever bugs are out there.
