  1. Friday's was our date night for many years.  The last six years, my wife didn't have the energy to go out so I brought something special home for both of us to enjoy.  After my wife passed, Friday's were never the same.  I don't buy food at any of the places we used to shared together because of the memories.  I have had to find new places. I rarely eat out now. Our lives are really changed by this grief.  Shalom

  2. Happy Birthday, Kay C.  - Shalom

I spent the day with my sisters & daughter and got to briefly see my granddaughter.  Thanks!

  3. I am right there with you buddy.  It is a new life of adjustment.  Some days it is all I can do to get out of bed.  My motivation, goal, and focus of my life was to love and care for Rose Anne. I have a list of woulda, coulda, shoulda, to do but find it hard to push myself to do them.  I think this adjustment to life without Rose Anne just takes time.

There are not any people around my age going through this.  I don't have a solution but I do try to remember the good things we shared... wonderful memories.  I am grateful to have shared a wonderful life with my beloved Rose Anne for as long as we were able.

For now , I look for ways to help others who are going through grief and try to listen and share both here and my local community.  My heart and prayers are with you. I like to read your posts and have been missing your presence here.  It is nice to hear a male perspective.  - Shalom

  4. Merry Christmas, Mitch.  I understand the struggle. Fighting some battles of my own.  My prayers are with you and for you, brother. - Shalom
