chrisesniece Posted March 7, 2008 Report Posted March 7, 2008 I've been dealing with my grief for almost two years. I don't think i'm getting any better. I was wondering if i should go on anti-depresants? I don't have most of the physical symptoms of depression. But I'm just sad most of the time. Should I discuss going on pills with my therapist or am i just over reacting? ADVICE NEEDED PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
AnnieO Posted March 7, 2008 Report Posted March 7, 2008 Yes, this is something you need to discuss with your therapist. Medication can be very helpful but you need your therapist to help you decide what is best for you. I am sorry you are struggling. Take care of yourself.
lorikelly Posted March 7, 2008 Report Posted March 7, 2008 I think the decision of taking meds is a personnel one. you must speak with your doctor and therapist. each person is different and deal with it differently. if you are having severe depression, loss of appetite, loss of sleep then you need the advice of your md. good luck. lori
