Just Yesterday

I said goodbye to "my" cat (as if a cat would allow himself / herself to be owned) and very best friend yesterday. He told me he was ready and wanted to continue his journey and had to do it w/o me. This morning I waited for him to jump up on the bed, tap my face w. his paw and greet me for the new day. It didn't happen and I have a hole in my heart. Thank you Snot for all you've given me.

I am so sorry you lost your cat. They do develop a huge place in our hearts and when they die we find a hole there instead. I wish you comfort and peace...it sounds like you knew your cat was going to die and granted him permission so he could be at rest.

So sorry as well. I have that we don't view death as a friend, the parting a temporary separation. It sounds like you had wonderful communication to hear what he needed. I hope you will feel him around you soon!
