  1. Had an unexpected visitor on the week end...My Daughter who is a drug addict and as a result suffers from Schizophrenia, surprised us with a visit to see her daughter...On egg shells all week(4 days), when we made it clear no drugs she said its like being in Jail......Gave her a ride to highway(40 miles), $100, and she left.....The rest of the story is she has an Assault charge to appear in court by months end...She is a violent young lady ,who is 40 years old ,who refuses to stay on her Meds...

  3. lows of 32 and highs in the 70's......Already got two rounds of Golf in, Life is good again...Gave the Dog much needed bath this morning.....emptied out a storage locker, something I won't pay rent on anymore. Issue now is what to do with about 30 storage containers........Adding storage shelves in Garage to make room for my indoor "temporary hot tub"...My senior Cat has lost a step, has difficulty jumping up to his dish or the top bunk bed( 9 years old)........he still doesn't get along with the new kitten.....Everyone have a good day

  4. Animals definitely sense(smell?) sickness...Germany they had some dogs actually sniffing people for Covid.....I've heard of Cancer detection in some "medical" dogs.....My new kitten(9 months old and small), gets along with the Puppy like best friends, but the resident 9 year old Cat does not like the new comer at all.......I believe things are getting better but don't leave them alone  for to long.........Makes life interesting....

  5. I was somewhat upset about the Hospital taking a total of (3) visits to get it right....Giving popsicles should tip them off its a throat issue.....The instant test and local pharma dispensing antibiotics big step in the right direction...The grand daughter saga continued over the weekend, may be back with Dad.....Finally above freezing starting tomorrow, still freezes at night, almost Spring like.....

  6. Two steps forward, going backwards yesterday for sure...Drug troubled step-Granddaughter left her Fathers place and is back with drug dealer boyfriend.....She was 9 days clean but she perceived family was unkind to her....My concern is this whole cycle will restart or it has ...The rehab is on hold....Bright spot is The Grandmother has got full custody of the Granddaughter( Court Date was Yesterday).........Found out a Pharmacist can prescribe antibiotics in Alberta(since 2004), spent two visits to the hospital, asked for a Strep test second visit( each visit is 5 hours), two days later they phoned in prescription.....Truth today ,there is a instant test for Strep B....lots of needless suffering...

  7. Weather getting cold again up here< starting Feb 22-28(minus 10-15), and that should be it...The Flu is really disrupting things, two grand kids had it bad, Judi really had it  bad for 14 days now, I got off easy .....This being cooped in doesn't help......Bought a portable inflatable Hot tub yesterday, it going in my garage for now....Arrives next week ,after the severe cold ends.....Good news, adding another two holes in my belt, slowly getting smaller...
