Thanks to all of you, got married Saturday and it was great...It was a blended Family party for sure....Will post pics in a couple of days...Guests left yesterday and today...Just relaxing now....Lots of work for a 70 year old, but so worth while...My two flower girls went on for 6 hours, pedals down, pick them up, do it again, and again...it was so good...Sisters, Sons, grandkids, great grand kids, and Friends( new and Old)

This looking after a 6 year old is a Challenge of Challenges....I'm not used to a child who defies logic, disrespects everyone, and expects McDonalds 5 days a week...And throws tantrums at bedtime....My recipe for years has been don't give in and never let her play the Adults against each other....very precocious  young lady....I had no issues 25 years ago, but we are too old for this on a sustained basis...The Father takes her this weekend which will be a break....

Gwen, September 17th is date, arranged a small community hall.....Trying to keep it to family and close .friends...About 50 guests...Grand Daughter...Thanks for the Congrats

Hello out there, been a busy few months...Picked up a Marriage license yesterday and arranged a Marriage Commissioner then called it a Day......Latest news id Great Granddaughter is staying with us until family things get straightened out...Who would've thought I would be the "Go to Family" at my age.....Just shows the state of things....Attached two pictures, she is my Dog walker.....Registering for  school this week....never a dull moment...Quick trip through the mountains two weeks ago..never tired of the View

Just checking in, finally have summer like weather...Got a surprise, Step  Daughter decided to move  ,so I listed the Trailer and started getting things in order(I still used a shed at the property for storage).....The mobile sold in 10 days, so we have been getting everything relocated superfast....Saw moving Van at the property last night, sad but relieved..Too Old for moving headaches...Other than that, my Puppy is getting "fixed" next week, noticed she was making friends too easy at dog park..So its time, 6 months old.......Fruit Trees are in bloom and poplars budding nicely...At least 3-4 weeks behind...Prayers out too kids in Texas, unbelievable, beyond imagination....Pure Evil...

No pictures today of the Pets but very positive developments....The pup is almost 50% bigger and loves playing with the Cat....Once in awhile, like Gwen said, the Cat gives the Dog a bat if she gets to playful....The dog is "half Deer "as it can leap twice its height.....gates and pens not doing the job......Life is good....God bless our Ukrainian Friends/ damn Putin

New Jack Reacher series with Alan Ritchson is excellent...real deal and gives insight of Reacher growing up...Season 2 announced....

Well my Cat and Dog finally getting along.....there is still quite the disparity in sizes......Puppy is super fast now and full of mischief, Cat is amused but takes to high ground when annoyed.....

Gwen, it’s a Girl and name is Zoe..,The cat and dog both like sharing a couch with whoever is on it.  I’m buying some kind of dryer sheets that pick up pet hair.   For such a little one sure likes to eat.   The belly rub is definitely a favourite.  

Update on newest family member....its like having  a baby ( crying in the crib, demands attention), chewing everything, and such a delight...driving Cat crazy, who has shown great patience..... Last day of sub zero weather..

Kay, Favorite spots for sure....Pup has favorite pads now, goes down stairs to pee on a pad and comes back to join us...Within last 8 days stairs no longer a problem........Extreme cold is back for few days -20 and colder with Chill...only a few days and it moves East...Ground Hog better do the right thing

This Pup sure has the energy and the ability to make a game out of everything.......Has no fear, i put blankets and pillows by the couch and bed as he jumps off everything. Found her stuck on a landing yesterday, managed to "go down" two steps, that must have been fun...Trying to train her is a challenge , I placed about 6 Pee matts strategically around...She prefers my bathroom, convenient....Hard to find collar for her small neck, even cats collar is too big...Will go to Pet store next week......Pups name got changed from Snowy to Zoey.......that was a Girl decision....What a great decision bringing this Pup into our lives...Weather actually above normal now...i'm betting on Ground Hog not seeing his shadow..., good news...(I think)

Gwen ,So right, she is a cutie...and full of the devil....The Cat takes the high ground and gives the Pup some space...Pup wants to play but they touch noses once or twice then cat disappears   Maybe a token swat to keep dog away when appropriate  All and all going a lot better than i figured.....

Things are better up here ( we have two days of this week of sub Zero)......then normal seasonal....We just got sleet, our roads are rinks, staying put for a few days.....My AC was just great last year.....65 days before I golf(somewhere)

Furnace good for last 5-6 days, and able to control...I went over and shoveled snow against the Trailers  skirting(natural insulation)...We had a big weather break up here , a Chinook of sorts, melting for next few days...I'm sure the worst is behind us, touch Wood..

Six (6) more days of this Siberian High, this is too cold for us Seniors...Its sliding/ jumping from -30 to +35, should be good ....

Now its -33(-28F)....just plain cold....Not records but darn close....Ice is thick on the Lake

All one piece but flowers can be removed from cart......Daughters furnace( my trailer) on the fritz so dropping off back up electric heater once Sun rises....Really cold again -23 F this morning

Dee , this statue was repainted and re coated by artsy friend....it has place of Honor now...( upgraded from Garden).

Dee, my Fiancee is an Angel fanatic....I had a couple but she must have had at least 50....After Christmas I will post my repainted Mother Mary.....
