Ztyu123
Is it wrong and selfish to grieve?? Shouldn't I be happy that they're gone and possibly not hurting? That they don't have to deal with the world, depression, financially, mentally, emotionally, physically, emotionally, struggling?? Missing and grieving feels narcissistic and selfish. It feels all about me instead of them.
kayc
I disagree. I just responded to someone about this very topic on my other forum yesterday. It is natural for us to miss them, and of course we're going to grieve. The pain should lessen eventually, to me it'd be a sign I need help with it if it didn't. The missing them continues forever though and nothing is ever the same without them. I guess that's part of the price we pay for loving. Today is 18 years since my beloved husband George is gone. Hard to believe.
