As far as the ashes go....I have Mike's ashes in a red rock urn from Arizona, and his ashes will be mixed with mine and buried someday. I do keep some separate, and when traveling to new places take a little baggie of his ashes to scatter, that way he travels when I travel. I would just sweetly tell her that you have not made any decisions yet regarding his ashes, and you will be happy to let her know when you do.
