Sarahg3
Does anyone out there feel the pain of loss with a physical pain in your upper stomach chest? I have lost my parent and grandparents over the last 5 years (I’m 30) and I felt like I coped well and dealt with the grief but now my partner and me have broken up and I feel like I’m going into meltdown I think I emotionally rely on him to make me feel ok I don’t know what to do with myself it’s heartbreak and grief at once and I’m so lost. If I drink it takes away the pain but the next day I feel ten times worse I don’t want to be ruined by one man but I was so emotionally attached and dependant has anyone gone through the same thing?
kayc
I am sorry for your losses. I've lost so many people in my life...I've learned to coexist with my grief. Their absence will always be with me but we can come to live a full life even so. Alcohol is a depressant, the last thing you need right now. Going for a walk and spending time in nature, on the other hand, can help you feel better. It's important to take charge of you and your own life and be responsible for your own emotions, we don't need someone else to do that for us. What you are describing is common in grief, inner pain so strong that it hurts physically. https://www.griefhealingblog.com/2013/03/physical-reactions-to-loss.htmlhttps://whatsyourgrief.com/physical-grief-symptoms/
