You have been more than a wonderful friend to me as I have been going through some very rough times and I am here for you today if you need me. mlg Posted January 19, 2009 Report Share Posted January 19, 2009 Thanks everybody. You can't imagine how much it means that people I have never even met send me such caring notes. We had Mass for Tom this morning and then my girls and part of their families, plus 3 of Tom's sister's came for breakdfast. Believe it or not his sister's made it through without anything bad happening (they haven't been to my house since 2 weeks after his death). Then my youngest daughter and her husband took me to a riverboat casino. That was something Tom liked to do so I'd go for him. I thought surely with his "pull" this year I would win. But , oh no, I"m still a big LOSER. oh well, it took my mind off of things for about 8 hours with the 4 hours of travel time.Now I'm home by myself again and I'm sure later will be bad but right now I'm OK.Thank you all again, because it means so much.
