Well today my son Mike and his wife Mel where over this morning to open our christmas presents and they handed me a card...Congratulations it's a Boy so with that said I am having a grandson in May. Bruce would be sooo happy a grandson to help with the farming LOL. Christmas Eve and Christmas morning were not as unhappy as I thought that they would be. Had myself a little cry with all my kids when we where opening our gifts that we got from each other...just a few sad monents thinking that Bruce was not here with us but knowing that he was looking down on us and saying be happy my dear family because I am and LOve that Grandson of mine I hope that everyone is doing well today. I'm so looking forword to the birth of my grandson in May...May was also Bruce's birthday month it would be so nice to have the baby born on or around Bruce's birthady. Today I am finding to be quite a lonely day. Everyone is out doing their own thing and be the day after christmas I always find that day a bit of downer anyway. Was just sitting in my livingroom looking at my christmas tree and the tears just started to come..thank god we all got through Christmas and now we just have New Years to get through. My son Mike and his wife Mel have been married for over 7 years and have been trying to have a baby for the last 2 years. They had trouble getting preg. but they are now going to have their first baby and yes it would be sooo nice to have him on his grandfathers birthday. It is so nice to have something good to look forward too. Hope that you had a very merry christmas. Thanks again for being here for me and helping me get through these last months. I am so happy for you.My daughter has also been trying for 2 years to have a baby and no luck.Going to a specialist now. My mom was german, and she wanted her to have a baby so bad, she whispered a german name in her ear before she died, so she has the name picked out if it is a girl... Gail_R Posted December 27, 2007 Author Report Share Posted December 27, 2007 Rosanne..My son Mike and his wife Mel had a hard time also.They had to go to a specialist also..she was on drugs to help her get preg. and now there is a baby boy coming in May. My husband was also german(canadian). Bruce would have made a great grandfather. He so loved kids..but I'm sure that he is up there looking down on us. I hope that you are lucky enough to become a grandmother someday. Gail Teny you are so right good news and new life. This baby we help us all heal. I hope that things are looking a little brighter in your life. God knows that we all need some light in our lives. Take care of yourself Teny.
