Cheryl Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 (edited) I heard this song months ago on a christian radio channel but couldn't remember the name. I finally remembered enough of the words to do a google search. It's a real tear jerker. I often wonder if my husband misses me as much as I miss him. I want him to konw that I need him to save a place for me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbsBUf9VKyc. Let me know what you all think. Edited September 2, 2010 by MartyT Link inserted
Jennalee Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 I'm not to the point where I'm ready to listen to these kind of songs, but I have noted it for when that point comes. Thank you so much for sharing it. I'm sure it will be a comfort to many.

Korina Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Before we took Scott off life support, I asked him (pleaded?) to save me a spot in heaven. Korina
kayc Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 I'm expecting George to welcome me into heaven. I don't ever want to be away from him again.
Daughter2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 Although mine is not a spouse loss, but a parent loss....I too want my dad to welcome me into Heaven. Today I was thinking of how much I miss him, and how many things I want to tell him. One day, when it is my turn, I will see him again. - L
Marion Claire Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 I had to find the song on the internet and listen to it. I was glad I did. One of my daughters had them play the Johnny Cash song on cd "Will You Meet Me In Heaven". It was sad to listen too but so right for my family. I have songs from my son's funeral on tape too that his son made. Yes I cry but still I feel good when I listen even tho they make me cry. Maybe I am weird but certain songs have such meaning when I really listen to the words.
MartyT Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 Marion, dear, not weird at all. Have you visited our Grief Songs page?
