WendyJ
Me too guys,it was fun taking my mind off my troubles for awhile, thanks ! I have to get up for work too, which has not been the easiest thing to do for the past months. Unlike Suzanne who I believe is the one who said she can't sleep more than about 4 hrs at a time I could sleep and sleep. Anyhow my birds are screaming at me to be fed and watered also and the dogs want their treats. Good night my dear friends just keep in mind something important...Thank God Tomorrow is Friday !Love,Wendy
dpodesta
William,I am a Texas driver, I have never been to California. I think people drive just as bad here.Love alwaysDerek
kayc
Back to the church thing...I have a book called "Pathways to the Soul"...it is really good. It explains that there are different ways in which people reach their spiritual side...one is through Liturgy, which finds solace and comfort in things like church, stained glass windows, chanting, etc. Another is Nature (that would be mine), they find God literally outdoors, they feel closest to Him around trees, water, etc. I think there were four pathways and I don't remember them all. I didn't see one about a shower, but maybe that should be added on. I think it's important we recognize how to feed our own soul, and two, respect other's differences. One may have been through humanity. Remember "Brother Andrew" who believed serving people was the same as serving/reaching God? He spent his life in service, feeding others, etc. Mother Theresa was the same. Too bad we don't have more of those!
Corinne
Hi Everyone!Sorry I missed out on the fun last night but I like Wendy could just sleep and sleep and last night I crashed early. I guess it is the job search stress and checking into therapists for myself and the girls. Speaking of which Derek did you find a therapist for Carson and does Carson talk to him? I don't know if my girls will even speak to anyone.William and Wendy,Did you take your meds today? I'm too lazy to run and don't know if I could drive through yards like Derek, but I do own camoflage clothing and I could sneak up on you! Hugs & prayers,Corinne

Stallyn
Texas is a nice place, well we can run but never hide LOL, I nearly forgot my meds today but took them shortly ago, There was another post where religion was dragging on too much I think, I personally felt getting out of there and being here where its more open and positive in my opinion; God does care. I wish I could sit down and read again for a change instead of grinding my gears everyday. hugs,
suzanne
WilliamGlad you remembered you meds. I carry my blood pressure medicine around with me until time to take. Got my little dog, Layla beside me tonight and a pot pie for dinner. But you know, I have a roof over my head, a dog (even though at times very destructive) and something warm for dinner. And good friends here to talk to. So I guess Friday night really isn't that bad. Need to change my attitude.Suzanne
Corinne
Wiliiam,I am proud of you, you remembered your meds again! I think you were scared Derek was coming with his car or I was going to sneak up on you .Hugs & prayers,Corinne
Stallyn
Suzanne, we aren't alone for sure, sure beats the bars or coffee shops LOL, I used to carry the pills in a small container but some of them are horse pills making it hard to keep in small pockets. It is a good night, cooled down a bit here, Corrinne, just thinking Derek chasing me with a 4K Lb vehicle gave me the willies LOL. I don't think being flat with treadmarks on my body would be appealing to the eyes
WendyJ
Shhhh I gave Derek a few flats so his vehicle will be out of commission for awhile. He will never know it was me ! Love,WendyP.S. William I would have been flattened right with you, I was on the handle bars remember?
suzanne
WilliamNo bars or coffee shops for me either. It is a good night afterall when the initially shock of "it's Friday night" wore off. No better way to spend it, than with the company of good friends. Wish we all lived closer and we would have a cup of hot chocolate together. Maybe even a York peppermint patty. I hope each of us has a tolerable weekend, maybe even good.Suzanne
Corinne
William & Suzanne,I don't do the coffee shop or bars either. I spend all my nights at home with my girls and my friends here.Hugs & prayers,Corinne

Stallyn
Karen, I do but I get up and hurry myself for nothing, I am going to have a person check on me daily next week, you are dear to me too Wendy, ah boyyyy, I though he really did, I lost my humor 7 months ago Corrinne, I ahhh I feel foolish.. karenb
William....Just a little something. You know, my son, who has a mental illness. He's on different pills for a while now, and his computer crashed so I'm going up there tomorrow to help fix it with my daughter, who's a computer tech. So, anyway, a couple days ago I asked him if he'd clean his apartment and air it out from the smoke 'cause my daughter doesn't like the smoke. Well, I called tonight to remind him we're coming in the morning and he offered the words, "I cleaned the apartment and aired it out." Now, doesn't that sound like not too much, but for someone to offer information without being asked, talk without having just to answer a question, and just "communicate" on their own. That says the medication just does count, helps the situation. Do you get what I'm saying? The person that is going to remind you....do you have caseworkers or some person that helps you with this? Maybe I shouldn't be asking these questions, and if I shouldn't please tell me so. For some reason I care about your well being....just being a mother, I guess. Have a peaceful evening.Your friend, Karen P.S. You know, mothers worry, and I guess I just worry about things....I think I'll just watch TV.....good night, my friend.
