I found this on FB today. "Grief is like an earthquake..."

Sometimes we get judgments from others during the aftershocks and this can set us back into that same vulnerable state we were in at the initial loss.

So when the high wind blows, don't just accept it or tolerate it...put up a windmill. Turn that around and give kindness & understanding to that unknowing. That's how you change the situation.

“ The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself. ”

Have you ever looked in the mirror and seen that unfamiliar face? Who are we since grief walked into our lives?

There are times we hardly know. ~ The Zen of Grief: Sedona Selah

Yep. And it doesn't seem to matter how many years goes by.

A message from the Other Side ~ from Joyce Marie Sheldon

"Weep not for me
I sit in the presence of Gentleness and Light.
All Love surrounds me.
Joyousness and Peacefulness are everywhere.

I travel now to the Beautiful Promise
of all that was hoped for and believed in.

My movement from the world you know
to the world you can only dream of
does not take me from the chambers of your heart.
I will live there forever.

Speak to me for I can hear your words.
Think of me for I am aware of your thoughts.
Love me ... as I Love you ... always"

Dear Anne,

Thank you for your generous spirit and all that you share.  Sometimes, I find exactly the words I needed to read (hear) and those words stay with me through the day, bring comfort and hope.  Thank you.
