I Just Can't Bottle It Up Anymore
Kavish replied to 2sweetgirls's topic in Loss of a Parent or Grandparent
Hi, I am sure that we would like to have someone besides us, as a stable , normal human being, yet so many are frail and fail at the "simple?" task of being normal. I guess you loved your mom so much just because she was just such a human being. I did meet that person in my best friend, Diana, and I want to live by with good thoughts of her decency through out my life. Please try and focus on the good and try and keep your life in normalcy which would mean try and be gentle with yourself first and others after that. Take care, Kavish -
Dear Susavi, I am in awe of your dedication. You must love your husband more than anyone else. You will have faith that you will be stronger through this. And life/death will never take him away. He will always be alive. Your heart is your friend where he is , both God and your husband. Take care, Kavish

Hi Momof4, Our world is for the love of God. We are his children. So we neither give or take from him. He wants us to believe in his wisdom, as we put our trust in him, he too trusts us. Take your time. God loves us all. Take care, Kavish

Hi Kansas, You must love your mom so much. Your heart is big, then it must be big enough to handle the grief as well. I believe that our loved ones fill our hearts with love and also the strength to go on without them. But they are here with us , as I believe they live on, it is only that we can not see them. We will always love them no matter how long or short a time we had with them. They made a place in their heart for us and now they live in ours. I am glad you have a family who loves you. Take care, Kavish

Hi Lizzie, Your grandma B is always going to be there with you. She is going to smile every time you do something and will bless you in so many infinite ways as we pass along this journey. Take care, Kavish

Depressed And Overeating-Gained 35 Lbs Since Dad's Death
Kavish replied to Eteh's topic in Behaviors in Bereavement
Over eating is just to keep our mind busy with nothing. I am guilty for doing that too, but i know we can calm ourselves some other way which would be more invigorating like walking.. Thanks, Kavish -
Eteh, I am sorry that your grand dad died this way. It is not easy to understand why certain situations arise but we must try and accept it as a part of growing and going on. I am glad you are in constant touch with your aunt ,who must also be feeling the same way as you do. I just would say that we can accept it and look for succor and peace within. Regards, Kavish

Dear Tiffany, We all do our best for our loved ones. I know they would say that too. I know that I will have to keep on doing what I can to be as close to our loved ones as we were when they we could see them. They are here still. Have courage, Sincerely, Kavish -

Losing The Most Important Person In My Life
Kavish replied to Arei's topic in Loss of a Parent or Grandparent
Hi Arei, The only way I find myself to go ahead is to believe that my loved one believes in me and will want me to live for them till we meet again. I believe that our loved ones are always here and everywhere although we can not see them. Take care, Kavish -
Hi, It is now 366 days or one year or 52 weeks + 1 day that my best friend passed away. But I feel happy that I am now one year closer to her than ever. Every day I think of her and her calm presence around me, whenever she was here. I know she is here , and I believe in life after death. Thanks, Kavish

Happy Birthday. I believe that with every year we become more stronger and more closer to our loved ones who are here and everywhere. You do not have anything to worry about. Your mom is looking after you, as is my best friend after me, and we after them. Take care, Kavish

Benpm, Please do what you really feel. Just because you won't have to bear the pain of dealing with such matters later on, maybe is the reason you want to get rid of it as quickly as one can. But you know your mom best. It is difficult on you at present but you can do whatever you decide. I support you in whatever decision you take. When my best friend died all her belongings were giving out to the fortunate ones who got them through good will, etc. I too got lucky and got something in return. Take care, Kavish

I agree with Sheiss, Please write what you really feel and send it up in the balloon and free it to anywhere it will go. Eventually your message will reach your dad. It will help lift a load off your shoulders as well. You know that no matter what you are a beautiful person. Best wishes, Kavish

Hi Butterfly, The only thing I believe in is afterlife. I know that I will strive all my life to make my belief bear fruit. That I will see my loved one again. The one that we love is always near us and can hear us and does talk to us. When I went to visit her at the cemetery she said to me , "Be free. " Of course it was a monologue but I felt that she meant those words for me and herself as well and they came out of my mouth impromptu. Sincerely, Kavish

Kavish replied to Billw's topic in Loss of a Parent or Grandparent
Hi Bill, You got a big mountain to climb ahead of you, and it is going to be difficult long hike ahead. But we all have to climb that mountain and spend ourselves till we are exhausted and hopefully find our peace. Take care, Kavish -
Try and close your eyes and you will hold on to him tighter in your heart. Your heart will be strong and you will not have to worry that he is gone. I do it with my heart and I feel better that my friend is always with me. Take care, Kavish

It Is Hard To Keep Going When I Miss My Dad So Much

Hey Niamah, i don't know if you believe this but I believe in life after death and I am going to strive to be with my friend Dabby nee Brooksbank, Smith, from LadyBank, Scotland, as long as I live or live after I die. I am looking forward to striving and that I will see her again. I don't want you to despair , you live your life as if you can feel your Dad, and live it for him and you will see/feel his presence. Thanks, Kavish

Second Thoughts About My Parents
Kavish replied to STARKISS's topic in Loss of a Parent or Grandparent
Hi Shelly, Some get the family support , some don't but in the end we all have to fight our battles and are better for it. I know it is difficult and hard and sometimes not worth it but we all are children of god, so we need to have faith in him and ourselves. All the best to you, Keep moving on one day at a time. Hope you find some thing as a new job. Take care, Kavish -
Niamh, I do feel that only the body is lost but the soul lives on. Our loved ones are there for us and if we can find them in our heart, through our responsibilities then we will feel them again. Please concentrate on yourself and be nice to self. I still believe that although we can not see them , they are here and everywhere. I read a book Life After Death: The Burden of Proof by Deepak Chopra and it may be unbelievable or not easy to grasp that we can not see our loved ones but we believe in our loved ones and have faith that our beloved souls are here for us. Sincerely, Kavish
